About Me

Vick Vanlian

I was born in Beirut Lebanon in 1977, spent childhood and high school years between Beirut, New York and Montreal.  I studied Interior Architecture at the Lebanese American University (LAU) and graduated with high distinction in 2000.

At the age of seven, I realized that I had passion for furniture and design. Since then I have tagged along with my father to our family owned furniture showroom and factory during holidays and summer vacations.

Being engulfed in the world of design at a young age (I attended my first Milan furniture fair at the age of 10 with my father!), I grew an eye for details and quality.  With this sense of design, I completed my first interior design project while I was in second year of design school. Since then I have had an overflow of projects ranging from apartments to palaces, restaurants, bars and hotels always showing the different aspects of his fun and loving personality in his designes which are eclectic, luxurious and pop out of the ordinary embracing the pop culture of the moment.

I have been lucky to gain success in the Middle East with clients that include princes, princesses, prominent business people, and famous arab singing sensations.

With the new furniture line under my own name, I hope we continue to gain recognition in the European and International design scene and a significant impact to the world of design.
